Many residents of communities along the Magdalena River already have the talent, ideas, and drive. What’s often missing is the support needed to turn those dreams into real, sustainable businesses. That’s why we’ve created incubation spaces for small ventures, especially those related to hospitality, craftsmanship, gastronomy, and other local expressions.

This isn’t just about selling a product; it’s about identifying the most authentic parts of their culture and showcasing them to the world with pride. It’s about adapting them, when necessary, to the tastes of international audiences without losing what makes them unique.

That’s why we’ve created incubation spaces for small ventures, especially those related to hospitality, craftsmanship, gastronomy, and other local expressions.

What we aim for is much more than selling: it’s about showing the world the most valuable things these communities have to offer— their identity, creativity, and unique way of creating. We help them organize their ideas, shape them, and find ways for their creations to reach new audiences, while remaining deeply rooted in who they are.

What if the person guiding you through the canals of Nueva Venecia could tell you, in English, what it’s like to grow up in a floating house?
What if, in San Basilio de Palenque, a local woman could share the living story of resistance and freedom that runs through her blood in her own words, in a language you understand?

That’s already starting to happen.

We’re offering English courses in these communities with a clear purpose: to help residents connect with international visitors, open new job opportunities, and most importantly, give their voices full of knowledge, pride, and memory the chance to cross borders.

These are not traditional language classes. They’re spaces created at the community’s pace, rooted in daily life, shaped with deep respect for culture and customs. And this is only the beginning. The goal is to expand this initiative to other regions, where stories are also waiting to be heard and understood around the world.Because when a community learns a new language, it doesn’t just gain a tool. it gains autonomy, visibility, and the power to tell its own story.
In its own way. From its roots. With its own voice.

Some stories can’t be told with words alone. There are crafts, gestures, silences… that can only truly be understood when witnessed. This is the reason behind this documentary: to reveal the soul behind a tradition that has lived on for generations along the Magdalena River.

It takes you on an intimate, heartfelt journey into the heart of a craft. It uncovers the process of building boats in the Magdalena region, but it’s much more than a technical look.

It shows us the spirit of those who, with their hands, shape not just wood, but identity. It’s about what this craft truly means: a past that seemed forgotten, a present that refuses to be lost, and a future that is beginning to take shape through art, pride, and collective effort.

It’s a way of telling the world: this is who we are, this is what we do, this is what we feel. And we do it with love.

Additionally, we are committed to strengthening the cultural and environmental heritage of the region,
ensuring that every purchase drives projects with real, lasting impact.
